Azur Lane: Crosswave Switch NSP Free Download Azur Lane started life on mobile devices as a 2D blend of RPG mechanics and side-scrolling shooting. Its move over to console with Azur Lane: Crosswave brings with it some flashy 3D battle scenes, but the overall experience retains a similar structure and feel to its mobile counterpart. Fans of this type of game will absolutely relish the visual novel aspect of the experience, but those looking for some deep systems and engaging battles will be bitterly disappointed.ROMSLAB.COM BEST SWITCH GAMES

Developed and published by Idea Factory, the story for Azur Lane: Crosswave is utter nonsense, but engaging and straightforward enough for most players to follow along. It depicts four distinct nations – Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Iron Blood, and Sakura Empire – who must band together to defeat a mysterious group known as Sirens. The characters themselves are scantily-clad anime women who effectively act as their equivalent nation’s naval fleet, each woman representing a single ship.
The game is split unevenly into two.
The larger chunk of the game plays out like a visual novel, and these sequences do drag on for far longer than they need to given how little of substance is said. I haven’t played Azur Lane in its native Japanese, but I’d be willing to bet the puns and humour lands a little harder untranslated. That’s not necessarily a criticism of the translation, mind you – it’s perfectly competent – it’s just that it’s hard to imagine the occasionally rambling dialogue wasn’t meant to be punchier on its original writing.Let’s Sing 2021 Switch NSP

With that being said, while Azur Lane doesn’t have the most densely philosophical narrative and there might be a little lost in translation, I’ve found myself enjoying it more the second time around. Perhaps it is the greater familiarity with the characters this time, or the lack of anticipation on what’s coming up, but I found it easier to settle into and enjoy the moment-to-moment narrative beats. Azur Lane covers off most of the standard anime tropes, but it does so with panache and relentless charm, and every character gets enough screen time that you can come to enjoy them all.
Action is slick and well designed
Action is slick and well designed, and is focused purely on aggression and the bullet ballet. Within the game’s small arenas, you’ll be weaving in and out of swarms of bullets while also trying to target both aerial and ocean-based enemies (and, occasionally, a rival ship-girl). There is a real issue in the lack of variety, in that because each of the characters are ships, they can only move around on water, and that means there’s no room for cover, ambushes, or other terrain-based tactics. Thankfully, the difference in loadouts between characters is enough to make those battles feel different enough anyway. LiEat Switch NSP

You do also get to play around with photo modes and the like; Compile Heart play the fan service up to its maximum, and there are some little bonuses in there for people who already own the game on PlayStation 4. Really, though, there’s not much to add above and beyond our review of the PlayStation 4 game; this is an almost surprisingly good port to Nintendo Switch, and thanks to those mobile roots it does feel like a game better suited for the comforts of a handheld than the “big screen” – the combat action lacks the sustained thrills for the big screen experience, but the dynamic twitch gameplay makes for the perfect commute killer.
most encounters last less than two minutes.
In fact, you’ll get a better grade if you can win an encounter within 120 seconds—a goal that is never out of reach. Winning matches earns you points to spend on the recruitment of new Shipgirls and materials which you’ll use to improve your arsenal. You can also replay fights in order to grind for loot. By grinding, you can severely overpower your characters, which will make you wish there were more fights and that they lasted longer. Light Tracer Switch NSP

When you’re not listening to never-ending conversations or engaging in Shipgirl skirmishes, you’ll spend a lot of time navigating menus. You can spend zenni and blueprints on new weapons at a store or power up your existing weaponry using parts earned in fights. I found this process largely frictionless, although the game doesn’t always give you a good idea of what some of these items ARE. Weapon titles within the same class are often difficult to tell apart at a glance
