It’s definitely one of those easy to learn yet hard to master type of games because of the in-game physics – even if the game does feel a tad sluggish at times. The music is exciting and poppy while the menu has a very minimalistic vintage style. This game could of been in an arcade in the 80s good deal if you are playing with a large group of people. It’s simple enough that anyone can pick up on it. There are a variety of maps to play from. The game seems very polished and is obvious that thought was put into it. I would not recommend this game if you are playing alone due to this to play the game with less than the optimal 8 people using bots that have 3 variable skill levels. You can even have uneven numbers on each team to try to spice it up a little more if you’re playing short-handed. In addition, there’s a Challenge mode where you can try to work alone to complete some specific objectives for cosmetic rewards but since you need to reach a certain threshold to qualify for the next one it may be easy to find yourself frustrated and stuck. If you’re feeling creative there’s also a provision for making your own arenas.

This game isn’t as simple as it sounds on the surface, however. There’ll be a multitude of obstacles to negotiate.  These will include; bumpers which are likely to knock you off the course, spikes which will temporarily take you out the game until you respawn, with walls to navigate around and the opposing players. There are 32 courses to choose from, most of which are unlike the others, except a select few that have a semblance of similarity to them. If you can get eight players together in four-on-four action, you’ll have a blast – it’s hectic, action-packed, and despite the simplicity makes for some real epic showdowns. First, there’s the Challenge Mode. This takes you through 9 different challenges with the potential to score a gold, silver, or bronze medal in each challenge. The only way to progress through to the next challenge is to beat your current level with a bronze medal or higher. Achieving a gold medal will unlock a reward for you like cool new skins for your player. The levels offer a variety of challenges to face like scoring as many goals as you can against a goalie, protecting your goal as the goalie, obstacle courses, breaking as many targets as possible within a time limit, and of course winning some air hockey matches.
