Energy Cycle Switch NSP Free Download Romslab Energy Cycle Edge is made by Sometimes You, the same guys behind Energy Invasion, Energy Balance, and Energy Cycle. As you might be able to tell the developers seem to have a bit of a thing about energy. Unfortunately, the game is not quite as energizing as you might be hoping for. All three of the past Energy titles had different game mechanics but Energy Cycle Edge is a sequel to Energy Cycle and so features the same type of puzzles. It’s essentially a “lights-out” style game, but instead of aiming to turn off all the lights you instead have to try to turn everything to the same color. ROMSLAB.COM Best Switch Games

Clicking on a node will cycle it through a series of three colors, and it’ll also change every node adjacent to it in a horizontal or vertical line. You can probably see the potential conundrums at work. Initially, it starts off simple: maybe a couple of lines intersect while a few orbs are floating in the ether by their lonesome. The tougher mental demands come when you’re looking at several crossing lines littered with differing colors. There are a few hard-set rules to uncover that help you subtly remove off-colored stragglers, but you have to be judicious with your clicks. Screw-ups can lead you back to square one.
When you click each cell on the game field – it changes color, and the colors of adjacent cells horizontally and vertically.
Energy Cycle’s issue is when shortcuts and stratagems set in there’s… nothing beyond that. Granted, this concept and the underlying mechanics are functional. The issue is being barren of any extra spark once everything seems manageable. The turning point for me came slightly after midway into the main campaign (28 puzzles total). That doesn’t mean I instantaneously knew the procedure from there on; it’s more that even later solutions couldn’t avoid this trap of enabling anyone to stumble upon partially correct answers. You rarely get that sensation of a series of dominoes falling over after that a-ha! moment; rather, it’s more about mentally solving the right solution and now making the game catch up. Energy Cycle is a puzzle game at heart, but the gameplay is extremely limited. The game’s main menu has three modes from which to choose, as well as a “How To Play” tab that teaches all that you need to know. The game also has an unusual fascination of cats, especially those with a futuristic appearance and lightning bolts plastered across their bodies. These feline creatures have absolutely no relevance to anything in the game, though. They’re just there. If you’re a cat lover, but not the cute and soft kind, then you’re in for a treat. The main mode that is on offer is “Puzzle.” This is where you’ll be spending the majority, if not all of your time.
Your task to bring all the cells to the same color. Sounds pretty easy, but try to do it!
You’ll be presented with a grid of orb-like blobs and the aim is to change all of them into the same colour. The orbs will be of three different colours unless you choose to add more. You’re given the choice of which colour to use in your solution, but there is a challenge to be found. When an orb is chosen, it will change colour along with every other orb that is vertically and horizontally parallel to it. It starts off fairly simple but the difficulty will quickly ramp up. Thinking ahead is usually required, but every now and then you will stumble across the solution by experimenting with random orbs and colours. Pudding Monsters Switch NSP

The audio-visual splendor of a minimalist game typically isn’t a huge priority. I’m not against that either; in fact, I can enjoy Threes! just as easily on my phone or console because of its chill atmosphere and succinct sound design. Energy Cycle is the antithesis to that approach. The auditory vibrations that could be misconstrued as a soundtrack are so jumbled and discordant. Whether it’s a baby softly laughing, a lady melodiously singing a few words, or various techno beats, background music is more shotgunned out to fill a void than have some overarching theme. Even the sound design for cursor movement and orb color-switching isn’t satisfying.
Energy Cycle feature three modes for every taste:
This is all of the gameplay that Energy Cycle has to offer. After you are done with the 28 puzzle levels, there is the option of “Time Attack” and “Infinite Play” if you desire to do more of the same. The added twist is that you’ll either be against the clock in each level or simply carry on going forever (or rather, until you tire of playing). These levels can sometimes decrease the challenge drastically by spreading orbs far away from each other on the grid with no connection between them so it can quickly become boring after completing a much more challenging puzzle on level 26.

To continue this trend of a lack of content, the extremely odd music of Energy Cycle is the only audio that exists. Moving the cursor and clicking orbs creates no sound of any kind, so you’ll be subject to trance-like tunes that will leave you wondering what you just heard. One such track consists of the echo of a child’s laugh and utterance of “Eww” over some occasional drumming. They aren’t number one hits by any stretch, but thankfully there is the option of turning the music off. However, this is essentially the equivalent of muting your TV as you won’t hear a single sound afterwards. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Switch
