Zombieland: Double Tap- Road Trip Switch NSP Free Download Romslab In fact, turning it into a four-player twin-stick shooter, with each player taking control of one of the movie’s protagonists, was a very smart move. You can play as Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock. Each one has slightly different stats and a completely different screen-clearing special move. You’ll mow down literal hundreds of zombies and other canonically nonsensical enemies that come along your way. Conceptually-wise, it’s alright. The problem lies in its execution is the definition of “cheap licensed game”, because oh boy, does it look cheap and unpolished. ROMSLAB.COM Best Switch Games

I first booted up the game and was greeted to a menu interface that made Steam asset flips look creative in comparison. I then proceeded to the main game and noticed the “quality” of the four main characters. To say that they don’t look like their real actor counterparts is like saying that eating a rotten egg isn’t a pleasant experience: can’t say you’re lying, but that doesn’t convey the truth as well. Everything else looks very cheap, from the excessively reused assets to enemy models. The only two solaces of redemption when it comes to the visual department are the somewhat decent framerate.
Each character has a special ability that becomes usable as you fill a special meter by killing zombies.
It suffers from the fact that it’s really cheap. The soundtrack is generic and uninspiring. There are no licensed tracks. There is no “Salute Your Solution” by The Raconteurs, a song that instantly reminds me of the entire Zombieland franchise. The soundtrack is comprised of your typical harmless and generic tunes that won’t annoy you during gameplay, but will instantly vanish from your brain the second you turn the game off. The voice acting is bad, but also enjoyable in a weird way, because nobody (with the exception of Columbus’s voice actor) sounds at all like their movie counterparts. Spacebase Startopia Switch NSP

Bless them, they really tried, but they just couldn’t make things work. The guy hired to voice Woody Harrelson’s character is the prime example, as he ended up sounding like Larry the Cable Guy instead. These include an amusement park, a grocery store, a pair of escort missions for some old lady, and even a mission designed solely around finding one of the characters a bathroom. I’m not making this up. Most levels last maybe 15-20 minutes and the game only really offered any type of challenge around its 9th level, mainly because of the amount of narrow pathing that prevents you from having a lot of space to move around.
Between levels you can upgrade character stats (damage, health, speed, special meter fill rate, etc.)
This is made even worse in multiplayer as the distance you can be away from your teammates is shockingly small. While you can play through the short campaign with up to four people, trying to find even one additional person to stomach this experience alongside me felt like I was submitting them to sheer torture. The game also packs in a horde mode, but the few levels available and the repeated objectives for each wave make this a very one and done experience. Each level pretty much repeats the same “kill zombies” or “destroy nests” or “survive for 2-minute” objectives as they repeat with higher numbers. Spacewing War Switch NSP

The only thing that horde mode offers that is helpful in any way is by helping you gain quick experience to level up your characters and increase a few of their stats to make them more effective. Each location has you taking on 25 waves that increase in challenge the more you progress, usually. I love pretty much anything they feature in. Twin-stick shooters are a genre of game I enjoy playing. Imagine my glee then when I realised that there was a twin-stick shooter set in the Zombieland universe, that’s even based loosely on the plot of the second film. It’s time to nut up or shut up kids and get on with the review.
Environmental hazards and objects in the level can also be used to damage zombies.
Make it his duty to instate himself as the president, simply because he wants to get a kick out of doing so. In this new world, to simply be happy and have fun is his motto. It follows similar beats to the second film, with both being set ten years after the events of the first. However, rather than starting in the White House and progressing the narrative from there, Zombieland: Double Tap- Road Trip is about the journey to the White House. This isn’t a comment on the game either way, just a slight difference I thought I’d point out when summarising the events of the game and second film.

You’ll spend your time doing with this roughly three to five-hour campaign. There are three different activities to be cracking on with, all of which revolve around one thing- killing zombies. The first of these activities is the main campaign missions, of which there are ten to bash your way through. Each had some sort of commentary, at least I thought so, on aspects of the world that were present before the world fell to the zombies. For example, one level offers a commentary on the absurdity of commercialism, whilst another takes a stab at exploring the notion of environmental destruction.
