SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance Switch NSP Free Download Romslab My demo kicked off right at the beginning of the game as our stoic shinobi trains one of his apprentices and fends off some basic thugs from attacking his home, Oboro Village. While I didn’t get much of a feel for what the story is going to entail beyond a quest for vengeance, I was instantly impressed by the presence of actual voice acting and dialogue, suggesting there’s a bit more going on than just beautiful, disconnected levels full of enemies to slice through. Every level has a mixture of currencies to find, which allows you to power up your ninja. ROMSLAB.COM Best Switch Games

As you damage enemies, you’ll fill up a bar that lets you use your magical attacks. I had a fire-breathing one to start with, and by holding a bumper and pressing the corresponding face button, you can use them mid-combo for devastating damage. There are progression blockers in early stages that can only be traversed with later upgrades. The classic Metroidvania stylings being the main reason you would replay fights is a fan-favorite staple of the genre. Joe has a super move when his rage meter fills. Pressing both triggers activates his Ninjitsu.
Wield your vast ninja arsenal including the great Katana Oborozuki, Kunai, Ninjutsu arts, and Ninpo to vanquish your foes.
Letting you activate a screen-clearing fire attack that looked amazing and sounded just as good. The voice acting was fine for a game of this size and scope, with our demo using the English VO. The music set the mood well without being overly memorable. Joe’s a shinobi of few words, but he moves with purpose. What I loved so much about Streets of Rage 4, besides the hard-hitting combat and excellent music, was its beautiful, hand-drawn visuals. So, it’s no surprise that developer Lizardcube brought that same care to Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. Simply put, the game has jaw-dropping artwork and animation. Just look at the cloth flaps as he runs! Classic Games Collection Vol.1 Switch NSP

Joe jumps and slashes as you’d expect, but the combos that come from stringing together well-timed dashes are what really make Shinobi: Art of Vengeance stand out from similar titles. Movement is another highlight. You can climb and wall-jump across stages, but I enjoyed the parkour hops over small obstacles that conveyed an excellent sense of speed and flow. As I navigated the world, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance revealed strong Metroidvania elements. For example, I found emerald walls that could only be broken with a special move unlocked later in the game.
A dozen unique and visually striking stages, from military bases to a scorching desert, challenging platforming puzzles, and hidden secrets.
To call Shinobi: Art of Vengeance a simple platformer would do it a disservice, because there’s a lot more going on than just pushing forward and mashing buttons. Even in the demo’s early moments, Joe unleashed slick finishing moves to devastate enemies. My favorite? The Shinobi Execution. Once you’ve done enough damage to an enemy, the foe’s tagged with a symbol. When it appears, you make a beeline for the enemy, killing them instantly with your sword. So, if you tag multiple enemies with that symbol, Joe bounces across the screen with bloody purpose. Clash of Weirdos – Card Carnage Switch NSP

The more kills you string together, the greater the rewards. Joe can also tap into magic called Ninpo. Once you fill a small meter by defeating enemies, you can pull off a magic attack. In my demo session, I cast a short, fireball attack and a water attack that countered enemies. The real showstopper was the Ninjutsu, a huge, screen-clearing maneuver that activated once Joe built up enough rage by taking damage. However, while I loved the visuals, I was all in on the combat. It felt so fluid and enjoyable to utilize, while also being quite easy and accessible.
Unleash limitless combos with unique combat moves, acquire Amulets for enhanced abilities, and discover Ningi tools to overcome obstacles and uncover new paths.
There are light and heavy attacks, ninjutsu, ranged kunai, stylized finishers, and the usual dodging and jumping to get you through encounters. While it does feel like button-mashing in the beginning, it very quickly showcases how strategic you will have to be, combining attacks with your elemental ninjutsu and dodging at the right time. Once I got into the swing of things, I truly felt like a ninja as I was jumping around and attacking. Chaining together different attacks to juggle enemies and then slicing them with the stylish finisher move was addicting, and I love how the game encourages taking on multiple enemies.

It felt so satisfying to watch as I slashed through 3-4 enemies at a time to take them all down in one gratifying swoop. Another thing Shinobi is known for is difficulty. The levels I played weren’t overbearing, but the boss fights did take a few tries. If you’re that kind of person, you can challenge yourself by only using basic abilities, but Musashi has a lot of moves at his disposal you’ll want to use, and it really shows how dynamic the combat in the game can be. If there’s one thing to have concern for, it might be when too much stuff is happening at once. Clan’s Revenge Switch NSP
