TriggerHeart EXELICA Switch XCI Free Download Romslab You start the game playing as one of two mech characters: Exelica or Crueltear. There’s some backstory to read, but as you would expect, your only real goal is to blow up everything in sight from a top-down perspective. Each character fires a different weapon with a different fire spread, but the main twist in Triggerheart is the anchor. Using it, you can latch onto enemies, swing them around, and release them into the oncoming hordes of spacecraft. The anchor isn’t just for show, however–its use is necessary for you to make it unscathed through Triggerheart’s five levels. ROMSLAB.COM Best Switch Games

Everything else is much as you would expect from a vertical scroller. Waves of various enemies swarm from above, and you shoot them down, use the anchor to bash them into one another, or use one of your limited number of bombs to wreak havoc on a screenful of foes. It’s all a stringent challenge, so if you’re gunning for high scores and like the pattern memorization of the genre, you’ll find that Triggerheart doesn’t skimp on difficulty. It does, however, offer an unusually forgiving caveat in the form of unlimited continues, which means you can easily plow through the game in the first 15 or 20 minutes and see everything it has to offer.
Player choices and performance influence which ending they receive, encouraging replayability.
Hardcore fans will be more concerned about getting their high score on the online leaderboards than the scant bit of gameplay here. In light of the additional value similar games throw in, however, Triggerheart is too bare-bones to make it worth the 800-point asking price. It doesn’t have the unlockable characters and varied weapon types of the recently-released Omega Five, no co-op play of any kind, and offers no visual or sonic flair. Morover, the cookie-cutter enemies and settings aren’t very interesting, and aside from a few extended boss battles and a “true” ending to unlock, the game doesn’t harbor any secrets of interest. There are two anime flying, humanoid weapons called Triggerhearts to choose from at the outset of the game, Exelica and Cruelheart. The primary difference between the two is that one has a spread weapon while the other shoots directly ahead. The hook to the game is, in fact, a hook. Shooting the primary weapon or using a bomb quickly takes a backseat to firing out the hook, roping in flying enemies and then flinging them back at the targets as a powerful weapon. Tanks and other ground based enemies can’t be hooked, but they can be latched onto to help focus your primary fire and bigger aerial targets take longer to hook.
an adaptive difficulty system that adjusts the challenge based on the player’s performance.
Work better as rotating shields before letting them fly. And so the small bit of strategy Triggerheart boasts is born. Making use of it is crucial to success. One of the five stages looks nearly impossible to beat without proper use of the hook. Further encouraging players to work towards perfection is a dynamic boss system. Each stage is capped with a traditional boss fight, but how many of its forms you face is determined by how many score icons you’ve picked up. Each time you continue your score resets to zero so surviving the entire way through a level is the only way to see everything. MINE SWEEPER MILLON Switch NSP

Of course, if you stink then you probably don’t want to fight every form of a boss anyway handles surprisingly well with the Xbox 360 controller and toying around with the hook mechanic provides a bit of entertainment, but this is by no means a top tier shooter. It’s a hardcore game made for a specific audience and that target demographic has surely seen better without even having to venture off of the Live Arcade. Now, being the big, burly, unbeatable human-being that you are, you can just play Triggerheart normally and dodge every bullet that comes your way, but the devs have included an alternative method for handling these constant, hectic threats.
Choose between Exelica and Crueltear, each with unique attack patterns and abilities.
Your flying robot character has an anchor she can shoot with the press of a button, capturing enemy ships on contact. And once grabbed, you then automatically start spinning around with the captured enemy like an idiot. Stick with me here. If you time the release correctly, you can toss the enemy into formations, effectively destroying them and any projectiles within its path. Smaller ships are able to be grabbed right away, while bigger ones require filling a percentage bar before capture is finalized, the latter leading to some interesting strife scenarios due to your avatar’s decreased movement.

Using this ability is simply an option in most cases, but the game clearly wants it to be used a lot. This is especially evident when you realize normal and “screen-clearing” bomb attacks are actually underwhelming when an army of ships and projectiles clutter the field. Bombs clean the screen of projectiles and smaller ships, but bigger ships are barely phased; compare this to a successful toss attack, which destroys large ships instantly. Using the anchor is especially emphasized later on, when literal walls of opponents and bullets engulf the screen. Mineko’s Night Market Switch XCI
