Fantasy Friends: Under the Sea Switch NSP Free Download In the main hall are three pedestals that hold eggs. Initially, they are free, then later, you unlock them with your earnings but have no idea what’s inside. That’s the excitement side of things, kids. After giving the egg a rub with the hand cursor (joystick only – no touch option), the animal will hatch, and you can provide them with a namesake. I created my characters to fill in the gaps when my youngest wasn’t playing the game; the first was Mike, after Mike(s) in UnMetal. Immediately after hatching, the little critters in Fantasy Friends Under The Sea need to eat – initially a baby bottle until they evolve, a wash (under the sea) and then some love. You can say what you like, but they can’t hear you, so you have to show your love by petting, then entertaining them with one of the many mini-games. It doesn’t take long for your friends to evolve, which means is there will be some new mini-games – notably for feeding them as you’ll have to complete a few tasks before they can have a bite of a rainbow cookie. All this care and attention isn’t just ‘the right thing’, but ensuring that the friends are well fed, groomed and happy will award you points that can be used to hatch new eggs and even unlock some accessories.

You only need to read a handful of posts to know I’m a customisation whore, so even I gorged on some of the available items like specs and jackets to dress up your characters. Not that I’m trying to be nonchalant, but I’m not the target audience, so it got a little bit monotonous quite early on. However, ‘the kid’ was loving it once more, yelling at me now and again to show a new mini-game they’ve unlocked or whether fjre9vmw is an actual name (she’s learning phonics, so experimenting). You can call them whatever you like, I said. Fortunately, she’s not a fan of gangster rap, so all the names were family safe. Twelve Minutes Switch NSP

Fantasy Friends Under The Sea is quite slow-moving, but that’s due to the type of player that will lap this up. There are no game overs or storylines – simply take care of your new found friends and ensure they’re content. As I said for the first game, this teaches children how to be consistent and take responsibility – yes, yes, it’s a game, but the fundamental parts are encouraging, and I saw a difference with her attention to our dog when she played the first game.
Gameplay:
Just like the first installment, players can collect, feed, and play with 12 different magical creatures. There are different skins and accessories for each pet, as well as collectible items used for decorating the ocean. In this version, the graphics, pets, and items are much more attractive compared to the first Fantasy Friends. Since this game’s intended audience is young children, the controls and the gameplay are very simple. The left analog stick is mainly used to pet, feed, and bathe your pets. However, I still think it would be more fun and interactive if the game also used touch controls. Two Point Hospital JUMBO Edition Switch NSP

In Fantasy Friends: Under the Sea, the magical fairy guide Aurea is back, but this time she’s a mermaid. One complaint I still have is how Aurea speaks in Animalese. Since this game is for very young children, I think it would be beneficial to have her actually speak. However, I have also noticed several improvements in Fantasy Friends: Under the Sea compared to the first game. They cut back a lot of the dialogue, so even if the players can’t read very well, they can get the gist of the game. And thankfully, the loading times aren’t as long as before. Another nice improvement I noticed is that the mini-games are more entertaining than the first game. I wouldn’t necessarily say they are fun, but they aren’t painfully boring either.
First, the creatures.
Yes, they are still as cute as ever and are about the only thing that is really interesting about the game. Then we have the gameplay, which is still as straightforward as before: you breed animals, keep the eggs warm, and after they’re hatched, you take care of them… forever? It’s still quite boring, simple, and involves a lot of waiting around. Fantasy Friends: Under The Sea remains repetitive and unrewarding, I’m afraid. Another problem with this game was the mana, which is very important (for example to buy new eggs and to purchase cute items) but not quickly regained. The customizations and decorations are still in place and are still adorable as hell, but again, serve no purpose except being cute. TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue HD Switch NSP

And last but not least, the bugs that I encountered in the first Fantasy Friends game weren’t even fixed! The same bugs slipped into the second game, and that’s just the biggest flaw of this game, in my opinion. In my previous review, I mentioned that bugs appeared when playing with your pets, like the actual playing not working. I’m afraid that the very same bug was still present in Under The Sea, so I’m not sure how to take this game seriously at all.
