Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid Switch XCI Free Download Romslab, You may want to get away from it all in a world where issues and disappointments seem to lurk around every corner. Perhaps you have visions of the serene Japanese countryside, where you can go fishing, stroll through a sunflower field, catch some bugs, and enjoy the scenery without any worries at all. This game is perfect for you if that’s what you’re searching for and you don’t mind muddy graphics, a bit wonky translation, and blocky 3D models. In Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid, the year 2000 is precisely 2000 in Japan. August 1999, precisely. For the 31 days the circus is in town, you play 10-year-old Satoru, who is traveling with his circus-owning parents. Since you’re still a child, you don’t have any performances to put on; instead, you have all the free time in the world. Every day has a largely consistent format. ROMSLAB.COM Best Switch Games
After waking up, eating breakfast, stretching in the morning, and then having free reign until 5 p.m., when supper is served, you’ll have a few hours of nightlife before drifting off to sleep. The best action happens during the day, when you can go on mountain climbing expeditions, lend a hand to the locals, take the bus to a nearby town, work as Mr. Bug Catcher, or just do nothing at all. You see, even while there are missions in the game (which we’ll discuss shortly), you are under no need to complete them. The game will expire in about twenty hours, and the countdown to the 31st day will continue. Creator Kaz Ayabe has adhered to this idea for nearly 25 years, beginning with the PlayStation game “Boku No Natsuyasumi” (My Summer Vacation) in 2000. That franchise saw the publication of four games, none of which were ever released in the West.
3D Graphics vs Hand-Painted Art: Visuals in Natsu-Mon.
This is unfortunate because the idea of being a child in rural Japan, carefree and free to do as you like, sounded like a really great idea. But all was not lost because Attack of the Friday Monsters, a little spin-off, was published in English on the 3DS in 2013. Shin Chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation, which was released in 2021, is simply a My Summer Vacation game with a Shin Chan twist. This brings us to the game, which follows the concept exactly but tries several new things for the series, some of which work and others of which don’t. The mission structure is something that functions pretty well. You have three missions to complete: Small, Big, and Detective. The latter two feature more thrilling prizes (stickers). Since you only have a little amount of them at first, your ability to run and climb will be severely limited. them serve as your stamina. Animal Crossing New Horizons
Completing the missions mentioned above is the only method to raise this meter. The major ones range from solving 50 puzzles to playing minigames with a ghost or giving items to the museum; the detective ones, on the other hand, are entirely based on your activities with the Trumpet Forest Detective Agency. Though the name suggests it’s a highly esteemed organization, it’s really only a little group formed by three kids from the neighborhood. The majority of the short tasks award you with a tiny sum of money that you may spend to support the financially struggling circus, purchase items at the “Funny” toy store, or purchase bus tickets. While completing little assignments is enjoyable, mining for sparkling stones or searching for mushrooms in the surrounding forests is definitely a better use of your time if you want to make a lot of money.
Missions and Exploration: Your Path to Adventure in Natsu-Mon.
These may be sold for some unexpectedly high rates. We assure you that foraging is a worthwhile activity, since you will require a substantial amount of cash by August 16th. Even though the translation is flawlessly understandable and accurate, there are moments when it has an odd structure. It is very evident upon choosing the various questions for the diary entries that this was written primarily in Japanese. Speaking of which, one of our favorite aspects of the game is that you get to write and sketch in your tiny diary whenever you come across something interesting during the day. This might occur, for instance, if you manage to capture one of the 200 bugs in the game or if something remarkable occurs, such viewing the full moon perched on a hill. We think it’s excellent that each entry is accompanied by a sketch that appears to have been created by a 10-year-old. Splatoon 3
The transition from the fixed camera perspective of earlier games to the 3D environment isn’t flawless, either. Even if it offers some advantages for exploration, it’s still a significant downgrade. We like how inventive some of these fixed camera angles could be in Shin Chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation. Furthermore, Natsu-Mon regrettably lacks most of the exquisite hand-painted backgrounds that were once present. When we say “for the most part,” we mean that the interiors of residences follow the same model from the past: hand-drawn environments and fixed angles. This is how we wish the game looked the entire time. It’s really unfortunate because exploring the many regions in these games is one of the most important aspects of the experience. When you go from hand-painted artworks to 3D models that lack charm and have blocky, muddy textures, so much of that wonder is just lost, especially when viewed from a distance.
Escape to the Serene Japanese Countryside in Natsu-Mon.
We think that playing it handheld is marginally better because you can’t see the large, blocky models as much. Unfortunately, performance is also somewhat negatively impacted by the switch to full 3D. Because there are numerous frame drops, the game attempts to run at 30 frames per second. We found that the instability caused by the camera movements—which weren’t always steep drops—was visually uncomfortable. The game’s healthy qualities of exploration, companionship, and theming, however, made up for the mediocre performance and graphics, and the more we played, the less of an issue it seemed to be. However, it falls short of our expectations and detracts from an otherwise fantastic experience.
Thankfully, the score and sound design are excellently done, so let’s not conclude on such a depressing note. We hope they don’t tamper with the excellent cicadas, wind in the trees, and tiny theme that plays as you find a new place in later chapters. Life gets really hectic beyond a certain age. You see it all the time. Your life is dominated by work more than you would think. It can become more difficult to schedule hangout time with friends. This is perhaps part of the reason some people look for one or two comfortable life simulations to at least indulge in some virtual leisure. Toybox and Millennium Kitchen have created a summer vacation experience that is flawlessly recreated with Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid. It truly feels like you’re ten years old again; everything is brand-new, you have complete freedom, and nothing but wonderful, enjoyable experiences are in store for you. God of War Ragnarök PS5
