Paleo Pines Switch NSP Free Download Romslab The main story (so far) is based around your dino buddy Lucky, who might be the only Parasaurolophus alive. You’re given the quest of trying to find others of his kind. At the very start of the game, the townsfolk give you a ranch, and of course things are pretty run down. The game gives you tutorials on how to use Lucky to clean things up, and shows you how to build enclosures for dinosaurs. Although there is a house on the property, you are never actually ever able to go inside which is quite the letdown. You can also farm on the ranch, growing a wide variety of crops and veggies. While you can feed these veggies to your dinos as treats for reputation, you can’t use them as actual food. Each dino pen needs to have a trough, and either herbivore food, carnivore food, or both in the instance your dinos are omnivores. The only way you can get this food is either picking up pieces of food scattered throughout the island, or buying it in town from a vendor. Finding food in the wild is not a reliable way to feed your dino friends, as you’ll usually only find a few pieces each day. Your dinosaurs will also need an item called a Dreamstone in order to sleep at night.
Watch wild dinosaurs play before your eyes. You’ll always discover new things and make new friends!
You can find these in the wild in Veridian Valley, and sometimes the townsfolk will give them to you as a reward for a quest. The Dreamstones can be upgraded to change the biome of the enclosures to suit your dinosaur’s needs. Some dinos like the valley, some like the forest, and their happiness depends on that. Dreamstones aren’t that easy to come by though, and you might be tempted to run out and tame every adorable dinosaur you come across. The bad news is that each dinosaur needs a Dreamstone, so if you have three in a pen, you need three Dreamstones. Close to the Sun Switch NSP

Paleo Pines loves to gate you behind quests, or dinosaur relationship levels, keeping you locked out of certain places that have more Dreamstones to pick up. When I started up Paleo Pines on my Nintendo Switch for the first time, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the irony of the first line: “Welcome to Paleo Pines, a peaceful island full of dinosaurs!” I began to wonder if I could suspend my disbelief enough to truly appreciate the world I was thrown into. Though I was hesitant, I remembered that this is an alternate fictional universe in which evolution took a less brutal turn, and pressed on.
You’ll meet new characters, each with their own story, offering new items or quests, and sharing new stories with you.
After customizing my character, I found myself riding atop a particularly adorable blue dinosaur to my new home. His name was Lucky. The world is bright, colorful, and makes me feel happy to be a part of it. The ranch was in shambles, but I was feeling optimistic about turning the place upside down. A few good renovations tend to do the trick in these games. Instead, you have a home ranch-slash-farm, where you’ll take care of your dinosaurs and grow large fields of crops. This is standard farming-sim stuff, except with dinosaurs. At first, you’ll be doing everything yourself with tools. Cloudpunk Switch NSP

Which feels like drudgework, but then the game hints that your dinosaurs can be put to work on the fields. Each rideable dino has some sort of ability that becomes useful, whether it’s clearing debris, tilling long swathes of earth, or watering entire fields at once. Come on, Littlefoot, it’s time to earn your keep. Taming dinosaurs is an engaging, multi-step process. After partaking in a Simon Says-style minigame to let the dino know you want to be friends, you’ll need to get it in a perfectly tameable mood using treats, soothing noises, and, eventually, an expensive, special treat.
Use decorations for your gardens, give your ranch a cozy forest atmosphere, or become a full-time farmer.
There’s some minor frustration in how random finding this sweet spot can be, and working out a dinosaur’s preferred tastes is entirely a case of trial and error, which may or may not be a turn-off. There are almost 40 dinosaurs to find and tame, and they all have a ton of colour variations, with some being rarer than others – there’s a lot here for completionists and explorers. But say you’ve got your dino tamed. You’ve petted them, named them, and brought them back to your ranch. It’s now time to build them a pen. And not just any pen – dinosaurs have specific needs.

The pens need to be the right size, have the right food, be decorated with the right objects, and contain the right penmates. For prehistoric beasts that were totally happy to bound about in the wild, they sure are finicky houseguests. Planning out your ranch is one of the joys of Paleo Pines – seeing which dinosaurs will be happy to share a pen and sectioning off huge fenced areas to suit their needs is a fun little management puzzle. Thankfully, the dinos are very communicative about their needs, so solving an unhappy chappy’s problem doesn’t take much effort. The game opens with a slide show of a dinosaur hatching and growing up. Cloud Gardens Switch NSP
