Heave Ho Switch NSP Free Download Given the nature of the Switch’s detachable Joy-Con, the console has plenty of couch co-op titles worthy of cracking out with friends. A few examples really stand out, like the delightful Overcooked series and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, but there is arguably nothing that has quite managed to match the sheer joy that Snipperclips – Cut It Out, Together! brought when it launched alongside the Switch back in 2017. At least, nothing until now. ROMSLAB.COM BEST SWITCH GAMES

Heave Ho is a couch co-op game that is deceptively simple in premise, requiring up to four players to navigate a series of increasingly complex levels in order to reach the end goal. The twist here is that each player can only control their respective character’s arms. By moving the analogue stick around, your chosen character will swing his/her arms around. You can then grip onto any surface with either hand, with your left hand mapped to ‘L’, and your right to ‘R’. By utilising your character’s body as momentum, you effectively swing and heave your way across surfaces in order to progress through the stages.
A Heaving Helping Of Fun
One of the things that really stood out for me was the level design. All of the visuals have been kept quite simple, but the art style is neat, and each of the levels introduces a completely different environment. I got a sort of pencil crayon sketched style of art, which was a nice direction, as it fits their level designs quite well. Each of these levels has a great design and introduces a new mechanic, which keeps things fresh and challenging. One level specifically introduces invisible walls you need to find to climb on, but you can use your death splatter to help show where the invisible walls are. A very interesting concept, and you can expect something different like this each time you progress. While all of the visual concepts were a hit, I was not overly aware or fond of the music in the game, so this was an aspect that left a little bit to be desired. There is also a “hard mode”, so to speak, so once you complete all of the levels, you can go back around again for a crazy challenge.
Throw your friends
The game is all about grabbing platforms with long arms and maneuvering along the terrain in order to reach the goal. Playing on the Switch, the triggers manipulate the character’s hands and make them grab whatever they may be touching (including other players). It doesn’t take long for players to start Tarzan-ing their way across a surface, as it’s easy to get into a natural groove while playing.ScourgeBringer Switch NSP

Heave Ho absolutely shines in multiplayer. Single-player, on the other hand, feels a little lifeless. It’s enjoyable to make it through each level, sure. Some may even play a level over and over again in order to improve their times. But ultimately, this is a multiplayer game. The absolute joy of swinging each other around and watching your friends fail and succeed with some wild tactics is the recipe for an instant local multiplayer hit.
Alright, now let go with your left… No, that was your right… And we’re both dead…
It feels like these days, there is no shortage of goofy multiplayer games that largely rely on wacky physics to keep the player entertained. To be honest, the first time I loaded up Heave Ho, I assumed it was just going to be more of the same. The latest game brought to us by publisher Devolver Digital, this time from developers Le Cartel, Heave Ho represents the fastest I have ever been proven wrong about a game in my life. With support for up to four players and a range of fun worlds, each bringing their own unique feature, Heave Ho is an absolute delight that could either bring you closer to your friends or lead to a real life slap fight.SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays Switch

In Heave Ho, players take control of strange creatures consisting of only a head and two arms. Tilting the analog stick in a direction will cause the arms to flail in that same direction, while pressing the L and R buttons will cause your character to grab any surface with which they’re making contact with their left or right hands respectively. Gameplay is simple – grab on and move your arms to navigate clumsily to the goal. Each new world, of which there are nine, comes with its own visual theme and gimmick, from swinging on ropes in the jungle to dealing with the lack of light in a cave. Every level can be played solo, but doing so doesn’t really have the same feeling as playing with friends. SD Gundam G Generation Genesis for Switch NSP
