The basic system relies on four dedicated buttons (Light Punch, Heavy Punch, Light Kick, Heavy Kick). Each character has access to some command normals and/or target combos and some buttons have also a “close” (i.e. proximity normal) version with different properties. Special moves are performed by inputting a standard motion (fireball, dragon punch, half circle, 360) plus a button.
