POSTAL: Brain Damaged Switch NSP Free Download Romslab The reception to the Postal games was never really what anyone would call “positive.” There was a bit of hope for this to go the other way when Postal 4 spent a considerable amount of time in Early Access, allowing players to inform the developer of issues to try and make for a better final product. Then it released to a Metacritic average in the low 30s. Despite bearing the series name, Postal: Brain Damaged is actually very good. In fact, it’s quite close to being great. However, it’s held back by some worrisome bugs and notable problems with balance and enemy placement. Postal: Brain Damaged isn’t a Postal game. Not really. It features the series’ protagonist and humor, but structurally and gameplay-wise, it’s very much a ’90s first-person shooter. The story is that the Postal Dude is asleep and dreaming about various things. There are three episodes with five levels (four standard and one boss battle), and each episode has the Postal Dude attempting to accomplish some sort of silly goal.
Shoot a variety of insane guns at some of the freakiest enemies to ever grace computer screens
This is Postal humor, though, so the game’s not all that funny. But the creativity in the presentation can elicit some chuckles here and there. The game’s levels are large and extremely well designed. Every last level has its own theme that isn’t repeated. The level construction is memorable and consistently unique, which makes the acts of exploration and navigation a joy. They’re the classic “find colored keys then open doors” variety, and the level design is so good that it rivals or possibly even surpasses Dusk. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Switch NSP

Seriously, the design is that good. The first level takes place in a cartoony suburban neighborhood, but you’ll soon end up at a caricatured version of the US-Mexico border. Later, there’s an asylum, a game convention, and plenty of other memorable environments that are packed with character. Postal: Brain Damaged takes place within the dreams of the titular Postal Dude, where you’ll explore the psychopath’s dreamscape, attempting to complete benign goals like finding toilet paper.
Take a trip through the rich, twisted, ever-changing environments of POSTAL DUDE’S deranged mind
Taking inspiration from Doom, the game is broken into three episodes, each with four levels and one boss fight. That’s not the only major change to Postal’s formula, however, as you’ll quickly notice that this particular Postal leans into the retro aesthetic of shooters from the late 90s and early 00s. The random NPCs that were once cannon fodder in older games are still very much lambs to the slaughter, but they’ve now become faceless caricatures, which helps dull the senseless killing that was so problematic in older titles. Don’t get me wrong, though. There’s still plenty of killing to go around. It’s not very long before you’re given a weapon and let loose upon a wide variety of strange and twisted enemies. Postal’s humor is somewhat satirical and breaks the fourth wall in ways that are reflected in the world around you, as well as the baddies who inhabit it. Enemies vary from rednecks pining for their sisters, mutated asylum patients, cacodemons that look like clowns, and exploding bouncing beans clad in sombrero
Experience the challenging, fast-paced gameplay with quake-like movement and outrageous level design
All of which can be delightfully dismembered with Postal’s surprisingly varied weapon’s cache (and yes, you still can pee on everything.) The weapons in this game are sort of what you might expect in any first-person shooter. Assault rifles, shotgun, rocket launcher, cat launcher…. The weapons are pretty cool. Some are normal and others are nuts. A bow that shoots large dildos is one that stands out. The loud sex sounds that bleed out of your speakers each time you shoot it will put a smile on your face every single time you shoot it.

Ammo capacity is a bit of a pain at times. Even for the game’s equivalent of the run-of-the-mill carbine-style rifle, you will find that you are stuck for ammo quite regularly. In some ways, this is good as it forces you to use all of the tools in your arsenal but it also takes some of the high-paced action fun away from bigger combat encounters as you spend more time looking behind things for ammo instead of blasting everything in the area into meaty chunks. Postal: Brain Damaged is a pretty simple concept to grasp. Cafe Master Story Switch NSP
