Fans might be disappointed that this doesn’t appear to be a sprawling 3D platformer with a wide open world to explore, but, to be honest, I much prefer this approach. Luigi and Peach might be playable as platforming heroes in mainline games, but removed from those I see them as very different characters. Mario is Jumpman, after all.
