Samurai Bringer Switch NSP Free Download Romslab We’ll be perfectly honest we weren’t expecting a whole lot from the above trailer for Samurai Bringer, an upcoming rogue-lite action RPG for PlayStation 4. However, the game has won us over with old-school charm and what looks to be some neat gameplay. You play as Susanoo, a deity from Japanese mythology, who has had his power stripped away from him. You’ll battle your way through procedurally generated levels in order to regain Susanoo’s strength and abilities, with the ultimate goal of defeating the legendary eight-headed dragon, Yamata-no-Orochi. Presented in a 3D, isometric, pixelated style, it brings some big PS1 energy — we’ve seen it compared to Brave Fencer Musashi, which we can get behind. ROMSLAB.COM BEST SWITCH GAMES

The gameplay looks to be fairly modern, though. Defeating enemies and finding loot will earn you Combat Scrolls, which allow you to learn techniques and level up all kinds of attributes, creating a unique build with each run and steadily growing stronger. Meanwhile, beating the mini-boss Generals rewards you with armour pieces that buff your stats and provide unique perks — but these only last for as long as you can stay alive. It’s pretty typical rogue-lite fare, but the way it’s presented makes it all seem simple and approachable. The proof will be in the playing, of course, but Samurai Bringer looks fairly promising here.
Regain your divine power and challenge Yamata-no-Orochi
For a split second, I almost thought I was looking at a Dynasty Warriors demake A handful of cool game reveals were shown off at the Playism Game Show this weekend, but one upcoming title in particular — a Japanese mythology action-roguelite game called Samurai Bringer — stood out to me. Alphawing’s pixelated style really drew my eye. To be honest, we’ve seen a ridiculous number of roguelite games on Steam to varying degrees of success, and have run off on plenty of demon-slashing adventures in recent years. I’m not here to deny it! That said, Samurai Bringer is looking pretty sweet from where I’m sitting. I dig the game’s pulled-back camera and its flashy retro art direction. The end goal is to become powerful enough as Susanoo to bring down Yamata-no-Orochi — so here we go again! Samura Bringer is about toppling troops and hordes to unlock Combat Scroll techniques and ultimately improve your loadout, giving you better odds of surviving procedurally generated zones with mixed-up enemy types and placements. It launches on PS4 on 21st April 2022 — will you be checking it out? Master the blade in the comments section below. “Over 100 legendary warriors from Japanese legend and history including Oda Nobunaga, Date Masamune, and Sanada Yukimura will be summoned to stand against you,” according to the Steam store summary. “Defeating them will reward you with their weapons and armor imbued with various status boosting effects.
Mix and match combat techniques to create your own fighting style
Defeat the advancing hordes of samurai and demons to obtain Combat Scrolls.Techniques such as slice, thrust and jump can be equipped to change the way you attack. Furthermore, you can create your own loadouts with Combat Techniques to create your very own combat style. From spinning slashes to fire attacks and even combos to chain your attacks together. Build up your own fighting style for a combat experience unique to you. Donning this armor will not only give you an advantage in battle, but also add a little style to your loadout too.” Of course, there are a million little things that can work to unravel an otherwise good roguelite game. We’ll see how it plays later, but for now, just with first impressions, I like the premise of Samurai Bringer. Give me all of that sick armor. The bigger the better. While it’s already got a page on Steam, Samurai Bringer is also coming to Nintendo Switch and PS4 in spring 2022. The PC-Switch-PlayStation trifecta continues to do its thing.Samurai Bringer is a roguelite action game with levels which change with every playthrough, where you cut down hordes of Samurai and Demons to collect combat techniques and polish your fighting style in order to defeat Yamata-no-Orochi, the eight-headed dragon of Japanese mythology.

Prepare yourself by creating a versatile loadout to deal with various combat situations and aim to bring down the mighty eight-headed dragon, Yamata-no-Orochi. Susanoo, a powerful deity, challenged Yamata-no-Orochi to save Kushinada, who was to be sacrificed to the dragon. However, he was bested by the dragon and his power was taken from him.Cast down to the land of Nakatsukuni, now he must fight a multitude of samurai and demons summoned from across space and time to regain his lost strength… Just saw a bunch of reviews complaining about not being able to rebind the controls. This game is literally ABOUT rebinding the controls. That’s how you build your character. Not sure if those reviews were trolling or didn’t get past the intro, but wanted to clear that up for everyone else.
