Stack Up! (or dive trying) Switch NSP Free Download Romslab Take a pinch of Tetris, a first person view and three Italians who haven’t developed a game yet. This is how the recipe for Stack Up! read because Pixelconflict , the team behind Stack Up! is an absolute newcomer in the developer scene. Born through the lockdown, the three Italians got together and created their first work in the gaming sector within 16 months. You can find out in our test whether the effort was worth it. The gameplay of Stack Up!is very simple. We are in a room, boxes keep falling from the ceiling, they contain pieces of furniture that we have to stack on top of each other, because after a while the water level starts to rise. It’s not about protecting the furniture from the water, it’s about protecting ourselves. In a skillful platformer manner, we now climb meter by meter on our stacked construction. It is pleasing that the stacked furniture is not subject to any physical laws, such as gravity. You can easily stack them on top of each other or put them together next to each other, similar to the building system from Minecraft. Of course, simply stacking them would be boring in the long run. This is where the different pieces of furniture come into play. Whether the trampoline, which can take us up, the ladder or the game table, which is sticky and slows us down. Each item has its advantages and disadvantages, which must be used skillfully.

The icing on the cake are the power ups, which fall from the ceiling from time to time. Pausing the rising water for a few or boosting the jump height are just a few of the possible power ups. Independent game development studio PixelConflict has announced the release of their debut title Stack Up! (or dive trying). The game is set for a full release on Steam on July 16, 2021. Stack Up! (or die trying) is a stack-your-way-up platformer set in a suspiciously quiet house when suddenly, the pipes burst. As the water begins rapidly rising from below, players must grab as much of the furniture falling around them, stack it up, and start the climb of their lives…or die trying. Players diving into Stack Up! will be welcomed by a cheerful and cutesy vibe in a game surrounded by colourful art and lighthearted music, with options to take on the game solo or play against friends from all over the world. With varying difficulty levels, the game’s cosy exterior opens up to newcomers looking to practice on ‘easy’ mode. However, only the most dedicated Stackers will conquer the highest difficulties. Rapid building mechanics are required to deal with the fast-rising water, tasty falling power-ups and an endless selection of furniture placements. Now the question arises, where is the claim for me to stack all this furniture on top of each other? To be the very best of course!
Solo games with a range of increasing difficulties and global ‘Heightscores’ plus competitive multiplayer.
There is also a high score board for each of the three levels of difficulty, which differ in terms of the faster rising water and delayed furniture spawns. Believe me, nothing is more satisfying than immortalizing yourself on a scoreboard like this. I can sing a song about it, I was in first place during the test phase, even ahead of the developer himself. In addition to the high score incentive, which of course tends to affect single players, Pixelconflict also thought about multiplayer. With up to four players, Stack Up! be played simultaneously. The motto here is whoever didn’t get wet last wins. The highlight of the whole thing is that you can see what the other players are building at any time. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Because the play areas are delimited, but visible. If you don’t have friends. Pixelconflict also brings a well-known mechanic back to Steam. Tradeable Items! Few games use this mechanic, apart from trading cards or the thriving CS:GO skin market. In StackUp! you can earn crates that contain cosmetic items. You can sell them on the marketplace, swap them with friends or simply open them yourself. The important question now is how much does a key to open the boxes cost? Nothing, zero, nada! Pixelconflict completely refrains from paying for cosmetic items. You get what you see, completely for free. No microtransactions or anything like that.
Tons of unique falling objects, from harmless fridges and sofas to catapulting trampolines and dangerous sticky desks.
This is a service that you know from the old days of gamers, a long time ago.In the previous paragraphs you should have already noticed that Stack Up! doing a lot of things right. But what about the controls or graphics? Graphically, Stack Up! no triple AAA title, but it doesn’t want that either. With the low poly look of the characters, Pixelconflict hits the right style for such a game concept. In terms of controls, you can’t complain either, whether it’s the classic way with a keyboard and mouse or the gamepad. Our character always does what it is supposed to. The only thing that worried us was the rising water. Where is it coming from and why is it increasing every time?

It would be better for a craftsman to take a look over it, because I don’t think that the insurance company will pay for such damage in the long term. There’s fun for everyone, with a range of increasing difficulties, players can tackle the game solo to hone their skills, play for laughs or glory against their friends and even aim to conquer the “ Global Heightscores” to engrave their name in Stack Up legend! (or trying to dive) legends. More combinations than a Swedish furniture store : The game blows your mind, with tons of unique objects of different shapes and sizes, ranging from harmless fridges and sofas to catapulted trampolines and dangerous sticky desks. Remember that strategy is very important, especially if you’re trying to go really high! Graveyard Keeper Switch NSP
