Steel Assault Switch NSP Free Download Steel Assault is a pretty simple game. You play as a badass good guy whose job is to kill the badass bad guys, and you do so by violently blowing up a lot of minions, ninjas, and mech suits with the power of a lightning whip. It’s hard. Like, really hard. And just when it feels like it’s running short on ideas, the credits roll. Sometimes that’s all you need to have fun with a game; just a few good ideas that are done extremely well. Steel Assault gets what it’s going for and doesn’t waste any more of your time, and in that respect, it’s almost impossible to dislike.ROMSLAB.COM BEST SWITCH GAMES

In terms of gameplay, Steel Assault plays like a more fluid, but no less difficult, take on the classic Castlevania platformers. Taro Takahashi’s main means of disposing of enemies is a super cool electric whip that dispatches most foes in a single crack, making you feel quite powerful once you get the rhythm of it down and scourge dozens of enemies in quick succession. He can fling it in eight directions and there’s a nice feeling of momentum behind each swing, as Taro takes that important brief pause after each button press to wind up before initiating the attack.
It’s modern but keeps the feel of the era
Much like the legendarily brilliant genre pieces constructed by Treasure, or the almost cinematic way Contra III bombards the senses, Steel Assault plays out like a series of increasingly more staggering set pieces and situations and doesn’t let up from the throttle. That it does so whilst being entirely fair and beatable with practice, regardless of difficulty level, is an admirable feat. And it does get hectic, right from the off, as you are swarmed by enemies and forced into a death defying climb upwards with an instant death chasm beneath. Gods Will Fall Switch NSP

One minute you will be traversing the beautifully hand-drawn post-apocalyptic city on foot, the next you are riding a tooled-up speedboat, or hanging off the fuselage of a crazed flying contraption. There are bosses, mini bosses, into-the-screen perspective bosses, and standard enemies that feel like they could be bosses in other games. It looks and sounds incredible, with a panache that could probably not actually be squeezed out of 16-bit hardware, but completely retains the feel of that era.
Steel Assault: smooth as silk
Your hero is equipped with a whip-like melee weapon that can be employed multi-directionally, and comes off like a cross between Simon Belmont’s whip and Strider’s Cypher, and can be upgraded with power ups that add projectiles and all kinds of mayhem to it’s mechanical flail. Added to this rather handy tool is a Bionic Commando-esque grapple which can be aimed at platforms, vehicles and allows you to zipline your way around or dangle precariously in battle.Going Under Switch NSP

It works as smooth as silk and becomes second nature within seconds. Movement is equally fluid – you can jump, double jump and slide. It feels like you are playing something special. If I had popped a cartridge containing this into my first SNES I probably would have spent the next week locked in my bedroom in front of my CRT.
A Surprise Around Every Corner
Steel Assault was made specifically for fans of old-school arcade games and it shows in the difficulty and level design. If you want to enjoy the game, learn the level layouts, and confirm your mastery of the controls before you attempt anything truly challenging, play on one of the easy modes first. I personally recommend Very Easy because you probably won’t even die before the first boss fight. However, if you crave a true challenge, play the game on Normal and enjoy puzzling out how to survive each stage. The controls are generally quite solid, but slides can be difficult to time right and the zipline isn’t always easy to aim.Golem Gates Switch NSP

Each level has hazards and specific enemy patterns you’ll have to learn through trial and error, Dark Souls-style, which means you are going to die. A lot. In fact, the game always seems to have something new up its sleeve with each new screen, which is really impressive. Every time I went somewhere new, I was faced with fresh opponents, gameplay mechanics, and sometimes power-ups.
