Tetsumo Party Switch NSP Free Download Romslab If you’ve ever watched Hole in the Wall, the game show based on the Japanese phenomenon, you’ll know roughly what to expect in Tetsumo Party. This odd little game sees up to four players surviving for as long as possible against a constant wave of panels with sumo wrester-shaped holes in them. It’s your job to get your character in the correct position to pass through the gap that’s about all there is to it. The game is incredibly slight; beyond some unlockable characters, it’s likely you and your pals will grow tired of the concept very quickly. ROMSLAB.COM Best Switch Games

There are no other modes, no tortured storyline to follow — just position your sumo correctly until you fail. You do so with the shoulder buttons, but while it’s very simple, in practice it’s fiddly and not particularly intuitive. There isn’t even any music to enjoy while you wrestle your character into shape. For those looking for a new party game to play with some chums, this is certainly different, but you’ll be done with it faster than it takes you to buy it. The single player offering pits you against an infinite wall until your inevitable failure.
Riddle me this: what sumo, walls and dancing have in common? The answer is: all of these elements formed Tetsumo Party!
You can pick one of ten contestants that each have their own trio of trophies to grind. They unlock courtesy of sushi you can grab during each stage. It does offer you a reason to return although gaining the sushi to unlock the full cast takes just a few hours. On top of that, the characters often feel more like a cosmetic choice rather than a mechanical one. The short nature of the rounds and the quick restarts do help the game keep flowing. It’s something of a saving grace when, once the characters are unlocked, the solo experience can feel a little empty and brief. The Padre Switch NSP

You can compete directly with up to three others. Combatants take on the wall in split-screen and the winner is decided once all three of their lives are depleted. It makes a change from the single player which is over after the single failure. It gives the game a chance to pivot and build before the match eventually concludes. It means they can also go further than the swift solo stages. It’s where most of your time will most likely be spent as you fumble past obstacles. Clearing walls awards stars, while being hit by a wall will give you a close up view of your character’s rear-end.
What is the challenge? You need to control every limb separately. And remember – incoming bamboo walls aren’t that forgiving.
Tetsumo Party really starts to shine when others are involved. It’s childish, but it’s certainly in keeping with the over the top nature of many game shows, although having to pull up your Sumo’s underwear every now and again via a mini-game feels gratuitous. There are pick-ups, such as the ability to slow down the approaching wall, and various costumes are there to be unlocked but there really is very little to bring you back outside of multiplayer. Multiplayer is great for a tipsy night in, but even then is unlikely to hold a group’s attention for more than a few tries. The Outer Worlds Switch NSP
