Whateverland Switch NSP Free Download Romslab Strange beast, Whateverland. Since this is an independent production, it is a little easier to overlook some of the flaws while struggling to find the seven fragments of magic with which to summon the witch Beatrice and escape from imprisonment. Yet, at the end of the escape for freedom of the protagonist Vincent and Nick, the sidekick who winks at Shakespeare, I believe that even the most magnanimous gamer cannot help but think that without such itching the experience would be better from all points of view. Unfortunately, once the game starts getting into the nitty-gritty of the plot, it all falls apart rather spectacularly. While the individual stories of the owners of the spell pieces are interesting, they’re all glossed over in a shallow manner and we get no time to really get to know any of them. Perhaps the most egregious of these is one character who committed atrocious crimes when he was on Earth and, while you barely have a minute to process the drastic change in tone, are then shot back to
As a punishment, Beatrice sends him to the parallel world she has created, where the witch traps those she considers her enemies.
“Well he’s okay now he understands what happened.” I was left sitting there absolutely gobsmacked, and while I don’t want to get into exact spoilers, the tonal whiplash just about cracked my skull open. To leave Whateverland, Vincent needs to collect seven items to cast a spell to summon Beatrice and hopefully convince her to let him go. However, how you go about collecting these items is entirely up to you. On the one hand, you can get them by making the lives of the lost souls stuck in Clan O’Conall and the Crown of the Stag Switch NSP

Whateverland a little better, by cooking them some top-notch ramen, or by fixing their air conditioning. Alternatively, you can lie, cheat, and steal your way through the game. Who needs character development and self-improvement when being a selfish ass will get the job done, right? The rub is that how you make your way through Whateverland and interact with its inhabitants changes the course of not only the story and the game’s ending but also how the other denizens of the metaphorical ship of lost souls react to you
Vincent teams up with a charming, yet a little annoying ghost named Nick, and together they have to find their way out.
So you might be able to cheat your way through one puzzle only to have the next lost soul see you coming. Much like real life, it’s a lot easier to be helpful than it is to be a jerk. As a result, helping out the citizens of Whateverland is often a lot more straightforward than trying to dupe them out of their spell fragment, with the good run mostly featuring puzzles that, although fun, aren’t all too taxing. Meanwhile, a more devious run is a lot harder to accomplish, gives you very few pointers, and amps up the difficulty of the puzzles. CLANNAD Switch NSP

(It’s a lot easier to do someone a favor than break into their safe, almost as if there’s some moral lesson at play here) The game has two runs you can do: being a thief or trying to get all of the pieces by helping the Whateverlanders. Both runs feel drastically different in terms of puzzles — whilst the “good” run feels relatively simple and seldom takes more than one try to complete it, the thief run feels far harder. Some of the safes were very difficult to crack
Turn-based strategy sport simulator included in the game. With magic.
Whateverland doesn’t hold your hand if you go in as a thief, and the puzzles make it well worth it. Meanwhile, playing as a “good” Vincent, you get straightforward puzzles that are just plain fun: whether it’s helping a gorgon-esque creature create an action-packed scene for her book, helping a musician that can only be understood by those with an ear for music on a date, or tattooing a merman, the game doesn’t create impossible puzzles that require a keen eye. And truthfully speaking, it doesn’t need to.

A large part of Whateverland’s charm is in its characters. Whilst most games claim that they have “quirky” personalities, never quite have I met a cast as enjoyable and silly as this one. Whether it’s the crow that eerily resembles Edgar Allan Poe, twin sisters with a dog butler that talks, or a half-fish half-human fisherman, most characters are unique and enjoyable to talk to. Both Vincent, the protagonist, and Nick, the deuteragonist, deliver enjoyable lines to each other that make it seem as if they have been friends forever. CLANNAD Side Stories Switch NSP
