Hello, Luigi! Switch NSP is a Nintendo Switch game for Windows / macOS / Linux / Android / iOS. This tested release includes v1.0 with an estimated download size of 12 GB. Provided in clean NSP/XCI format, verified working on genuine custom firmware (Atmosphere) and PC emulators (Ryujinx/Sudachi).
Hello, Luigi! Switch NSP Free Download Romslab The format is consistent across the series. A character’s face fills the screen, you touch it, and it responds. In the Mario app, a menu behind a ? Block in the top corner summons items such as Super Mushrooms, Super Stars and warp pipes, along with a few enemies. There’s also a peekaboo mode in which a Boo may crash the party. Hands-on coverage of the Mario app described a small bubble-popping diversion that appears once you start spinning or flinging the face around. Nintendo’s store pages file the Luigi app under Action and Simulation, which is a generous reading; those are tags, not promises. For Luigi specifically, the published material is thinner. Nintendo’s listing mirrors the Mario and Peach ones: make silly faces, enjoy built-in breaks, play offline. One launch report mentioned drooping Luigi’s eyebrows as an example of what you can do (and brushing Peach’s hair in her app). Romslab

I can’t verify the full list of Luigi reactions, and I would rather say so than invent one. Why Luigi is a good subject This section is my inference about design, not a report on the app’s contents. Luigi is arguably a better subject for a face-poking toy than most of the Mushroom Kingdom cast. The ancestor of all these apps is the Super Mario 64 title screen, where a stretchable, three-dimensional Mario head served as a showpiece for the Nintendo 64. Mario is the confident everyman; his emotional range in that tradition runs from cheerful to determined. Luigi’s personality, especially since Luigi’s Mansion, runs on nervousness: the reluctant hero, the worrier, the one who gets flustered and then, occasionally, surprises himself. For an animator, that is a wider palette. A face that can look alarmed, then sheepish.
The screen and select an icon to make items—like a Super Mushroom, a Super Star, or pipes—and even enemies appear alongside Luigi.
If the Luigi app leans into this, and the drooping-eyebrow detail suggests it might, then it isn’t a reskin of the Mario app so much as a different personality in the same chassis. That would be the difference between a product-line extension and a worthwhile addition.
There’s also a plain practical argument. Small children fixate on particular characters, and a toddler who adores Luigi is not going to be satisfied by Mario’s face. Offering four characters isn’t only marketing; it’s an acknowledgment of how kids that age actually choose their favorites. The design logic of this series is cause and effect, with everything else stripped away. A toddler pulls a cheek and the cheek stretches. They let go and the face snaps back, making a noise. They spin the head and the character gets dizzy. The loop is immediate and the response is consistent, and those two qualities matter more for this audience than any amount of content. Noted the little vocal reactions each poke produced, and that is the appeal at this age: every action gets an answer. There is no tutorial because none is needed. There is no text to read, no goal to understand, no fail state to punish a wrong move, and no menu a toddler can get lost in beyond a single block icon. That absence of friction is the product. The rest of the design flows from it. The app runs entirely offline, so a parent doesn’t have to worry about connectivity or about a child wandering into a browser or a store. The Mario app’s App Store listing states that the developer collects no data, and the Luigi app is described as following the same model, though I haven’t seen Luigi’s privacy details confirmed. The sensory side matters as much as the mechanics. For a very young child, a face that squeaks, gasps and giggles in response to touch is closer to a rattle than to a video game.
Invite Luigi to play peekaboo by tapping on the leftmost icon in the ? Block menu. Boo may even make a guest appearance!
The quality of that feedback, meaning how good the animation looks and how the sounds are timed, is the whole experience. Nintendo has a long record of making small physical reactions feel satisfying, from the bounce of a Mario jump to the snap of a menu cursor. The company is playing to its strengths here, and it’s the main reason I’d expect the Luigi app to be pleasant even though I can’t judge it firsthand. The touch-first design is worth flagging. Touching and pulling is the natural interaction for a toddler, which means handheld mode is where this kind of app makes the most sense. The Mario app received a Switch update after launch that adjusted controller behavior in TV and tabletop modes, which suggests Nintendo knows the docked experience isn’t the primary one. A stretch of play Mario falls asleep, and no amount of poking wakes him. Nintendo pitches this directly as a way for parents to limit screen time. In the mobile version, the behavior can be turned off from a gear icon at startup. The Luigi listing carries the same idea, with “Good night, Luigi!” as its framing. The listing doesn’t tell you how long “a while” is, and I haven’t found the figure published. This is a soft limit, and I think that’s a feature rather than a flaw. Closing and reopening the app brings the character back, so a determined toddler or a tired parent can defeat it in seconds. But the real value isn’t enforcement. It’s the script it gives a caregiver. “Luigi’s sleepy, so we’re done” is a more graceful way to end a session than “I said that’s enough,” because the authority has been handed to a character the child likes.
Good night, Luigi! Luigi gets tuckered out after playing for a while and will fall fast asleep. At that point no amount of poking can wake him up!
Anyone who has tried to pry a tablet out of a small hand knows how much that reframing is worth. Two caveats. First, I can’t confirm whether the Switch version lets you disable the sleep behavior the way the mobile Mario app does, so parents who want either the nudge or the off switch should check. Second, a sleeping character doesn’t settle the larger question of how much screen time is appropriate for under-fives; it only provides a stopping cue. Nintendo’s decision to build that cue in at all deserves credit. Plenty of children’s apps are designed to do the opposite. The most interesting idea in the My Mario line isn’t on the screen. Nintendo sells beech-wood block sets, including character sets for Peach, Luigi and Yoshi plus a 30-piece Mario & Friends set, and the character blocks double as amiibo.

If that works as described, a Luigi block summons Luigi. For a toddler, that is a small piece of everyday magic: the toy in your hand and the face on the screen are connected. It’s also good design for a child who is more comfortable gripping a block than swiping glass, and it gives a parent a reason to sit with the child rather than hand over the console.
It is also, as one outlet pointed out, a case of Nintendo selling physical toys that make a free app better. I don’t think that is cynical, since the app stands on its own, but it’s worth naming. This is a great opportunity to take a break and help parents limit their child’s screen time. If you want to keep the fun going, you can turn off this feature by tapping the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen when the application starts. Kurokami-sama’s Feast Switch NSP
