Street Power Soccer Switch NSP Free Download Living up to its name, Street Power Football is all about street football: a 3v3 match where performing tricks is just as important as scoring goals. Instead of featuring the professional footballers we’re used to seeing on our TVs each week, this game features icons of the street football world — some of them well known, some not. If I’m being honest, I had only heard of one name in this game and that was Liv Cooke. There are a few different game modes to keep you busy in Street Power Football. ‘Become the King’ is the game’s adventure mode. In ‘Freestyle’ you’re free to perform whatever tricks you want, to a beat, but there’s a time limit and the person with the most points wins. ROMSLAB.COM BEST SWITCH GAMES

‘Trickshot’ mode involves hitting various targets spread around the playground. A ‘Street Power Match’ can be played 2v2 or 3v3, and you have 5 minutes to score 5 goals, whilst ‘Panna’ mode requires you to nutmeg your opponent. Finally, ‘Elimination’ is a 1v1 mode where players knock out a member of the opposing team each time they score. ‘Become the King’ is as close to a story as you’re going to get. You’re greeted by an enthusiastic Sean Garnier (Street Style World Champion), standing in front of a green screen, which honestly makes it feel very cheap. Add in the fact that it uses dubbed vocals, and it’s already not off to a great start; I would have preferred subtitles.
He explains that you’re on a journey to become the best – or the King.
To do this you must go through a series of ‘missions’ that require you to pretty much just play parts from the other game modes. Don’t enter this expecting any more story than that. One of the selling points of Street Power Football is the ability to perform a plethora of tricks and, while this is true, there is no skill needed in order to perform them. Pressing the Y button will prompt your player to perform a random trick and that’s it. It would have been nice to use various stick and button combinations to perform different tricks. The fact that this isn’t an option makes the gameplay feel not only pretty boring but also unrealistic. Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Switch NSP

There is no fluid motion when performing tricks either and when my player would be running with the ball, it would almost certainly ‘rubber-band’ back which quickly became frustrating. Sadly, it doesn’t get any better when we look at the game’s graphics either. They’re very outdated to the point I felt like I was playing a much older game than one released in 2020, which is a shame. Animations are poor and it was almost impossible to pick out any details of both the characters and the environment itself. Everything sort of blends into each other. But hey, you can customise your player’s clothing… Street Power Football didn’t provide me with any enjoyable moments at all, which is a shame because it had so much potential.
The most important part of this is, as expected,
The actual games of football that can be played. These are called Street Power Matches, and there are different team sizes that can be used that add a little bit of variety. Between the fast pace and the diversity of playing spaces it’s a whole lot of fun, and those who grew up playing football with friends will enjoy the back and forth nature of each game. From a gameplay perspective, Street Power Matches play a lot like FIFA Street (or FIFA 20’s Volta Mode). There’s not the same level of strategy as seen in your usual football sim, relying instead on fluidity and skills to come out on top. There’s the added bonus of Super Mario Strikers-style power-ups, while each character also has a special move to call on to turn the tables on the other team. Pokemon Lets Go Eevee Switch NSP

The balance of tricks and cartoonish power-ups works well. Successful players will mix up using skill moves to trick opposing players to make a bit of space, using special moves to pull off a powerful shot or pass, and then keep an eye on the power ups that will appear on the pitch. By then getting to grips with the curved shot mechanic, Street Power Soccer can become a real blast. Street Power Soccer doesn’t have the same success when it comes to the other game modes, however, and therein lies the problem. Its other three styles of play are basically minigames, with Trickshot asking the player to get shots on target from hard-to-reach locations, Panna acting as a one-versus-one battle, and Freestyle standing in for Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero with football tricks.
This leaves Street Power Soccer feeling a little thin overall.
Although the actual football is definitely worth playing, it’s separated out by game modes that quite simply don’t add all that much to the overall game. Unfortunately, no amount of charming FMV sections or quality songs on the soundtrack will make up for this absence. So, Street Power Soccer is still plenty of fun when it comes to the game mode that best suits its moniker. Those who want to enjoy a little slice of NBA Jam-style action could do worse than checking out Street Power Soccer, but those after something more substantial might find it wanting. There’s potential here, but a little bit more sustenance within its secondary modes would go a long way. Pokemon UNITE Switch NSP

Street Power Soccer also offers multiplayer, however over several days of attempting to play this, I was never able to get into an online match, which was disappointing. So I was unable to try out my sweet street soccer skills against some other people. Another notable mention within this title is the customization. You can select from any of the pros, but then go in and further customize what they’re wearing, the ball you use, etc. Currency to unlock these items is super challenging to come by, and can really only be acquired by completing the Challenge objectives, which I found to be a fair bit grindy for the small reward in currency that they would give. If you want to have the best of gear, this route seems like it’ll take ages as there’s only so many opportunities each day to earn the currency.
