So don’t let the Energy thing bother you, fully refilling it doesn’t cost much cat food anyways. That said, there’s also NO micro-transactions at all in this either, no grinding (I will say I stopped playing the Japanese version after the main story and a few of those optional…maps or whatever they’re called, but never had any issues with being walled off like with the mobile version). Okay so it doesn’t give you Cat Food like crazy, but refilling the energy is still super cheap in this version. Just don’t spend the food all the time. The game does give you plenty of BOTH tickets via the minigames, though.

In the battles of “The Battle Cats,” you can produce the cats using money that you gradually accumulate during the battle. You win by reducing the enemy base’s health to zero. Simply select the cat you want to produce and send it out to battle. Production consumes money, so consider how much money it costs to produce and the compatibility with enemy characters when choosing which characters to produce! You can increase the speed at which you can accumulate money and the maximum amount of money you can carry by spending some money to boost the “Worker Cat” in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will give you an advantage in battles, so be proactive and boost your “Worker Cat” early and often in battle! The “Cat Cannon” at the bottom right corner of the screen can be used to attack enemies at once and push back the battle line. It takes some time to charge up before firing, and when it does, you can use the “Cat Cannon.” Use it at the right time to get the best results. Use the XP you earn to power up and evolve your characters, acquire new characters, and power up your basic skills such as Attack Power and Cat Energy, etc.

- First you will need YUZU Emulator. Download it. Open it in WinRar, 7ZIP idk and then move the contents in a folder and open the yuzu.exe.
- There click Emulation -> Configure -> System -> Profile Then press on Add and make a new profile, then close yuzu
- Inside of yuzu click File -> Open yuzu folder. This will open the yuzu configuration folder inside of explorer.
- Create a folder called "keys" and copy the key you got from here and paste it in the folder.
- For settings open yuzu up Emulation -> Configure -> Graphics, Select OpenGL and set it to Vulkan or OpenGL. (Vulkan seems to be a bit bad atm) Then go to Controls and press Single Player and set it to custom
- Then Press Configure and set Player 1 to Pro Controller if you have a controller/keyboard and to Joycons if Joycons. Press Configure and press the exact buttons on your controller After you're done press Okay and continue to the next step.
- Download any ROM you want from Romslab. After you got your File (can be .xci or .nsp) create a folder somewhere on your PC and in that folder create another folder for your game.
- After that double-click into yuzu and select the folder you put your game folder in.
- Lastly double click on the game and enjoy it.
NOTE: Some games may not run in Yuzu emulator, therefore you may use Ryujinx.
